A Family Celebration Lunch

Our inquiry unit has been about Celebrations.

We have looked at how we celebrate

 and how other people in the World 

celebrate important occasions.

We brought to school an item of food 

that we might have at a celebration.

It was great to see and hear about the 
wonderful variety of food that is special 
to each of us at Family Celebrations.

Our Day.........
Today we had our first session of Tennis.
Our coach for the next four weeks is Isaac.

After Tennis we welcomed Marissa, Sienna and Josh for a school visit..

My weekend
In the weekend I went to the shops
and I picked my own glasses
and Mum helped me.

We are very excited about a new online programme called Reading Eggs. 
It is a programme with lots of interactive lessons using animations, games and songs to engage emerging readers.
