STRIKE.......
Today we went to the hall to watch and listen to the Strike percussion band.
They had an amazing selection of drums.
We watched as they made music with fire and played lots of different drums.
The drums were really loud.
We thought the show was very cool!
The music was loud but I liked it - Rhian

Gymnastics
Our Inquiry focus has been Science.
We have been learning about materials and what makes them change.
We have heated and melted chocolate.
We have dissolved and cooled jelly.
During these experiments we have learn't to make a prediction
of what we think will happen and 'observations' using our senses
of sight, sound, smell and taste.
We learn't about writing a list of instructions which is very important in science.
To end the topic we decided to make, package and sell jelly. Very Enterprising!
Last Monday we asked (surveyed) Mrs Powell's and Mr Graham's class to find out how many jelly cups we need to make.
We found out the most popular flavour was raspberry.
Today we made the jelly with the help of Sara's Mum and Harold's Mum.
Then we designed the containers for the jelly.
